Every football season The Home Depot sponsors ESPN's College GameDay. The contract lets them use the show's hosts. But they only have access to them for 24 hours.

It's a complicated brief: show that The Home Depot sells tailgating gear like grills and coolers, use the GameDay hosts, promote both the show and the store, and get it shot in a day.

Once this spot began to run, GameDay Host David Pollack incorporated the theme into his game breakdown on ESPN's weekly video. Testing results showed this was The Home Depot's highest scoring spot of the year in branding, enjoyment, and overall brand love. Thanks, Lee Corso.
